El Museo de las Aves de México (MUSAVE) is installed in the old building of the Colegio de San Juan, founded in 1892. This museum is the only one of its kind, since it protects and exhibits 73% of the bird species that exist in the country. Currently, the exhibition consists of more than 3,000 birds. Among them are the white-headed eagle, golden eagle, hummingbird, cinnamon eagle and more. In addition, the museum offers a cafeteria, a pedagogy area and a taxidermy laboratory.
